In this episode our guest Dr Lee provides an interesting take on why we struggle with feedback, both the giving and receiving. We unpack why it’s hard to give feedback, the idea of being resistant or sensitive to it.
DR LEE CONWAY (BA, Hons, MA Clin Psych, D Litt et Phil)CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST – BUSINESS CONSULTANT
is a Clinical Psychologist who consults to business, primarily at a senior and executive management level. An accomplished coach and experienced assessor, Lee also specialises in diagnostic team interventions, individual and group coaching and facilitation, experiential workshops, skills audits and conflict resolution. Her entrepreneurial qualities were honed when she successfully started her own business (focusing on assessments, workshops and consulting) which she later sold to Deloitte. She then managed the assessment division of Deloitte for four years before venturing out independently once again. Lee offers a bespoke array of leadership development services to corporate and public sector clients, primarily in South Africa but also including other African countries. Lee thus has deep knowledge and expertise with respect to the challenges facing leaders in developing countries and has worked with companies in Africa, including Malawi, Nigeria, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda and Ghana. leeconway@mweb.co.za
